CAIL to Present its Great Leaders Award to the Honorable Nathan L. Hecht

Join us as we honor the Honorable Nathan L. Hecht with The Center for American and International Law’s Great Leaders Award, recognizing his distinguished thirty-five years of service on the Supreme Court of Texas, including over a decade as chief justice. Chief Justice Hecht is nationally renowned for his legal scholarship, his successful work increasing access to justice for low-income individuals, for promoting a strong and independent judiciary, and for defending the principles underlying the rule of law.

Established in 1962, CAIL’s Great Leaders Award honors a person whose inspiring leadership, vision, and judgment have contributed to the welfare of the world, our nation, and our community—and to the happiness and dignity of the individual—in keeping with the great traditions of the administration of justice under law.

The luncheon will include an introduction by David R. McAtee II, followed by a fireside chat with Chief Justice Hecht led by Talmage Boston. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with distinguished guests, colleagues, and supporters.
